A number of church members have inquired about ways to get the history articles written by Elder and City Historian, Alex Shipley, that are published in “Our Town,” Rahway’s local monthly newspaper..

It’s easy! Go to the computer and log onto Google. Type in Renna Media, Our Town. Hit the first entry choice – Our Town, Renna Media. Scroll down to the listing of all past issues. History articles go back to the January 2012 issue and appear each month to the present issue. Scroll through the pages of the selected month to find the history article.

On page 16 there’s a great article in the April issue, featuring a former pastor, Chester Davis, and how he took a stand against the Ku Klux Klan in Rahway.
