Community Outreach

Supporting the Community

Our church provides space for several organizations / programs in support of the community in which we live.  Below are the organizations and their associated information:

• Rahway Food for Friends

Food for Friends’ Saturday soup kitchen program is housed at First Pres., with many church members assisting as chefs, servers, and volunteers.  Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the church office on Thursday, from 9:00am-12noon.  Learn more about the program here.

• Pentecostal Church of God

Led by Rev. Jose Noboa, this church meets every Sunday in Squier Hall’s stage area from 12noon-4:00pm and in the church library on Mondays from 1:00pm-7:00pm.

• United Man Soccer

This group organizes and holds youth soccer practices in the church gym area on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.  Suspended due to COVID.

• AA Meetings

This group meets every Saturday at 7:00pm in Squier Hall, first floor.

• Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA)

This group meets Tuesday & Saturday nights in the church library.
